Our first appointment is the most important appointment. This is a time to connect and get to know each other. These special services allows me the time to get to know you, your curl history, your lifestyle and goals so we can take a holistic approach to your curl care. Together we will decide a plan of action for your initial appointment as well as get you on the right path for proper curl care so you can achieve your curl goals.

All new guest must book a new guest appointment, no exceptions.
Online booking is open from 9am-10pm.
No new guest appointments available? Please either:
check back for any last minute openings, or check the 1st of the month for that month’s new guest appointments are available
or sign up to receive a notification when the next month appointments are available.

What to book...
New guest have 2 appointment booking options.
I highly encourage all new guests to book a New Guest Signature Curly Cut. This is a 2.5 hour service that includes a consultation, Signature Curly Cut, a styling /maintenance lesson, and hair is styled curly!
Or new guest are able to book Curly Hydration Transformation service what includes a consultation, wash, mini styling lesson and hair is styled curly. (no haircut)
During the service I encourage my guests to come prepared to learn and ask questions! This is their time and I want them to take full advantage!!

Sunday appointments are available at a premium price.
How to arrive to appointment...
To ensure the best possible result of your curly cut, hair needs to be in its natural curly state, down (no ponytails or buns), and 100% dry, with minimal product.
Not arriving to your appointment prepared and on time can adversely effect the appointment, the service styling results, result in additional fees or cancellation of the appointment!
What to expect...
As a new guest, your appointment will start the moment you walk into the salon studio.
The appointment will begin with a consultation. During the consultation we will have a detailed conversation about you and your curls, your haircare needs, your haircare struggles, your lifestyle, and your curl goals.
Next, we will do an assessment of your hair. Together we will decide our plan of action for the appointment and a long term plan that will get you on the right path for proper curl care so you can achieve your curl goals.
If you’ve never had a curly haircut, your in for a surprise! We begin by cutting the hair dry, in its natural curly state. This helps me to see where the hair will fall when it’s dry and styled. This also helps minimize the unpredictability of the curls shrinking. It allows me, as the curl specialist, to account for different curl patterns in the hair and any areas of concern.
Once the cut is complete, the hair is cleansed and styled. At this time that we go over everything the guest needs to know about their curls from A to Z during a styling lesson! The guest gets to watch step by step how the hair is styled with a detailed explanation for everything from “why curls get frizzy” to how to properly diffuse.
Lastly, the guest’s curls are dried. The guest leaves with a new curl regiment and knowledge of how to properly care for their curls!
Color Services…
My top priority for all salon guests is always healthy curls! So color service are a service exclusive for my existing guest. If you are a new guest interest in color, we will discuss and consult about future color service during your New Guest Appointment.
Due to demand on my time as a solo hairstylist I offer a condensed color services menu options of only natural color Curly highlights. (No single process, gray coverage, color corrections, or fashion color service available.)
FAQs
How do i book a new guest appointment?
Currently out of love and respect for my current guest I am taking minimal new guest appointments. It's essential to me that my current guests are always able to get on my books for their services and at this time my schedule is at capacity.
To ensure I am continually helping the curly community each month 3-4 new guest appointments are available. Due to the demand for appointments and limited availability, please follow the new guest booking steps above to be able to jump in on all the excitement at Pure Avidity Salon.
Where are you Located?
Pure Avidity Salon is located inside the Phenix Salon Suites in the SODO Shopping center between target and the Orlando Health Institute for Learning.
do you offer Waitlist or Cancellation list? Do you take walk-in Appointments?
No.
Do you work evenings or weekends?
Yes, the salon is open til 7pm on Wednesdays and Fridays, and we are open Sundays (premium pricing for Sunday appointments). Due to the high demand for evenings new guest are not eligible for these appointment times, after initial appointment they can book evenings for future appointments.
Can i cancel or reschedule my new guest appointment?
New guest can cancel an appointment online using the booksy app but will need to go through the new guest booking steps for future appointments. If appointment is cancelled within 24 hour of the service start time guest will be charged a last minute cancellation fee.
Do you offer services for men and/or children?
Yes, men and/or children are welcome at Pure Avidity Salon. Pricing for men/children are the same as what is listed on the service menu. It is recommended that children can sit still for at least 45 mins, without an electronic device. Continual movement of the head position while cutting will effect the result of the haircut adversely.
Do you offer Consultations?
Due to the demand on my time, I do not offer consultation appointments. All appointments include a time for a detailed construction to review any issues or concerns the guest may have before the appointment begins . If you have further question please feel free to contact the salon.
I am not new to getting my hair done curly, do I still need to book a new guest appointment even if I've seen other curly hair stylist?
Yes, The new guest appointment allows for the maximum amount of time so we can get to know each other, and I can learn your curls. Having this time allows me to give your curls all the love and attention they need!
Do you offer color Services?
Currently I only offer curly highlight services for existing guest only. If you are a new guest interest in curly highlights during your new guest appointment we can consult for future highlighting services.
Do you sell Products at the salon?
Yes, we do offer retail products to purchase at the salon. All our products are safe for curls to help promote healthy hair.
